On August 16th, 2017, The New York Race Track Chaplaincy will honor Kiaran and Letty McLaughlin at their Annual Brunch which will be held at Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, NY from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. In attendance will be approximately 150 of many of the top names in thoroughbred racing from New York, Florida, Kentucky, California, and Dubai. The New York Chaplaincy ministers to the heart and soul of the backstretch community with social service programs, recreational programs, educational opportunities, children’s enrichment programs, and non-denominational services. They cannot accomplish their mission without your support and thank you for partnering with them. Their 2017 official cartoon art, guest invitations and ad journal cover were donated by OFF THE PACE creator, A.E. Sabo.

7/31 SARATOGA, NY: 3 yr old filly MORTICIA rallies to win by 3/4 lengths in her last start, THE CORONATION CUP STAKES (listed) at SARATOGA on Monday, going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. Final time: 1.01.27

Morticia, a bay filly, owned by G. Watts Humphrey and trained by George Arnold II, was ridden to victory by jockey Jose Lezcano. Her record now stands at 7 lifetime: 5-1-0.
