Returning champion FORT LARNED will attempt to make history this weekend with consecutive victories in the Whitney Invitational Handicap at Saratoga. The field of 8 will hold strong opposition, including such competitors as Successful Dan, Mucho Macho Man, Ron the Greek, Alpha and Cross Traffic. And the ladies will have their day at Del Mar with the running of the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes. The mile and one sixteenth on All Weather tests fillies and mares and hosts a field of nine. Include Me Out, Via Villaggio, More Chocolate, and Byrama will take their shot at this ‘Win and You’re In’ contest for the 2013 Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic set for later in Nov. this fall.
