Another powerful weekend of US flat track racing shifts into high gear and the place to watch all the action is at Saratoga Race Course. Saturday’s TRAVERS STAKES boasts a field of 11, including Alpha, Neck and Neck, Liason, and more—all trying to capture shares of this year’s million dollar purse. Some of the nation’s fastest fillies compete in a 7 horse field to go 7 furlongs in Friday’s BALLERINA, but the real test of girl power serves up in Sunday’s battle for THE PERSONAL ENSIGN. Watch rivals IT’S TRICKY and ROYAL DELTA continue their battle at 9 furlongs. The NBC Broadcasting Network offers live coverage this Saturday, showing part of the Travers undercard from 4:00 to 6:00 pm ET.
